The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.
Team World won the puck control relay with a team of Valentin Zykov, Martin Reway and Nick Sorensen.
James Melindy of Team North America won the fastest skater competition, beating Martin Reway in the final.
Frank Schumacher of Team North America won the hardest shot competition with a result of 78 MPH, beating Petr Sidlik in the final.
Randy Gazzola of Team North America won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Nick Sorensen in the final.
Alex Bureau of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Marvin Cüpper in the final.
Team World won the breakaway relay with a team of Ivan Barbashev, Valentin Zykov and Nick Sorensen.
The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.
